MagiCHEM is a project originally funded by the Royal Society of Chemistry to use science based magic to engage with the public in a fun way to encourage an interest in STEM subjects. The MagiCHEM team have participated in Science festivals in Scotland and have carried out workshops in schools. The tricks are used to explain science principles and the participants get to learn some of the effects.

In the talk tonight examples of the effects will be shown and discussed.
